Required Qualifications

• Must have Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification in hand
• Minimum 1 year of school-based experience
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding

Required Certifications and Licenses

• RBT Certification (mandatory)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Educational Services - State Teaching Certificate or Credential as applicable
• Fingerprinting: Colorado CBI/FBI fingerprint results required (fingerprinting handled by the agency)
• Educational Services - Mandatory Reporter training (must be updated annually)
• Colorado CAPS Release Authorization (required for candidates working in Colorado)
• Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) verification may be required if candidate does not qualify for Professional Teaching License or Special Services Provider license (SSP)
• Other state-specific teaching credentials or licenses as applicable

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of school-based experience in the specialty (Schools/Education)

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start and updated annually, including multiple searches (SS Trace, Federal, Nationwide, County, Sex Offender) covering last 7 years of residency/work/school
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update required)
• Educational Services - FERPA training signed and updated annually
• Physical exam, TB testing, drug testing, and immunizations are generally not required unless specified by the client
