Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Unit: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs (float between like units)
Block scheduling: Open to accommodating
Locals accepted: No (50-mile radius rule from main campus)
Pending license: Not accepted
Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
Contract limit: 2 contracts max (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
First-time travelers accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
