Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (LTAC Med Surg - Night)
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Night
- Hours: 4 shifts x 12 hours (48 hours per week)
- Unit: LTAC Medical-Surgical Telemetry
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in specialty (Registered Nurse)
- Preferred Experience: LTAC experience preferred
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only, cannot expire within 30 days of start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only, cannot expire within 30 days of start
- NIH Stroke Certification (check unit description if required)
- License: Valid Registered Nurse license for South Carolina, primary source verification required, no pending actions, must not expire within 30 days of start
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Minimum 3 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
- Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced LTAC environment with night shifts.
- LTAC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates must be able to complete all required documentation and certifications timely to avoid delays or cancellations.
