Shift: 5x8 Days (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM)
Average Daily Census: 25 cases/day across 3 rooms
Weekend Requirement: None (Block scheduling)
On-call: No
Floating: No
Locals Accepted: Yes
First-timers Accepted: Yes
Block Scheduling: Yes, to be discussed with manager

Required Experience & Qualifications

Certified Orthopedic Tech with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Certified Orthopedic Tech experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Required Documents & Compliance

Valid/current US Driver’s License or US ID
Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks within 30 days prior to start
Education verification (High School or College Diploma not required for this role)
Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry fingerprinting (must be completed in Illinois 3 business days prior to start)
Competency exam (required for all clinical/allied candidates)
Physical exam within 1 year of start, including labs within 7 days of contract signing
Fit mask test (specific mask types required)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required by 11/30 (not required for non-patient facing or remote candidates)
References: 2 professional references required

Additional Notes

No license is required for this position.
All time off must be approved by the manager.
Badge photo required within one week of signing contract.
Candidate must review and sign facility-specific code of conduct and other required documents within 7 days of contract signing.
