Schedule & Work Details

• 36/36 schedule (36 hours on, 36 hours off)
• No call, rotating weekends
• Floating required
• Hybrid unit (Med/Surg & PCU competency required)
• Hospital may cancel/call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
• Additional overtime shifts available as needed
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Registered Nurse)
• Accepts first-time travelers (prior travel experience NOT required)

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for Tennessee
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Certification (verify if required/preferred)
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) – check unit specifics

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Candidate must complete various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments (e.g., contaminated sharps exposure statement, smoking/tobacco use policy, influenza policy)
• References: 2 preferred, 3 ideal
