Description

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: Weekend every other week
Call: None
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
Minimum Specialty Experience: 2 years (first-time travelers accepted)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Holiday Work:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work 2 of them
Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays result in 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Locals Accepted: Yes, at same rate

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
