Description

Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate stationary and mobile radiographic equipment in general radiography, surgery, and other areas as needed.
Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by radiologists and physicians.
Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, digital radiography (DR) imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills.
Competent in all General X-ray procedures, Surgical and Special Procedures.
May occasionally provide coverage in other areas (rare).
Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, variable day shift hours.

Required Qualifications

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

Additional Information

Experience with EMR systems Cerner and Spectra preferred.

Specialty Experience Requirement

Minimum 5 years of experience in Radiology Technician specialty.
