Job Opportunity: Dietitian (Travel/Contract)

Location: Buffalo, New York
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

Plan and conduct public health and/or nutrition education programs to assist in health promotion.
Develop training and resource materials related to nutrition assessment, nutrition education, and related health services.
Assist in developing new program policies and/or revising existing policies based on specific regulations, such as USDA Federal regulations.
Provide programmatic guidance and technical assistance.

Required Qualifications

Registered Dietitian with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics OR completion of an accredited nutrition and dietetics internship program and eligibility for Registration.
Experience working for a Federally-funded nutrition program, such as Women, Infants and Children (WIC).
Experience working in a governmental setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
