Job Opportunity: Wound Ostomy Certified Registered Nurse (WOC RN)

Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Wound Care experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)

Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) valid within 1 year, updated annually
- Immunizations/vaccinations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer or declination)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer or declination)
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (RespSafety) questionnaire and clearance annually for respirator use
Background & Compliance
- Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required (nursing degree verification)
- Employment application covering last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
- Minimum 2 references from supervisors covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- State-specific background checks and registry searches as required by Washington state law
- Completion of Providence-specific WorkRamp training modules annually, including:
- Regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for WOC RN role
- Basics of Trauma Informed Care
- Epic training modules completion required prior to moving to paid status

- Floating between units required within the facility
- No weekend or on-call shifts required

- Scrub color: any color allowed on all units
