Job Opportunity: MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel/Contract

Location: Clinton, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Day weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description

Float RN position covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Weekend day shifts.
Must float within skillset and acuity.
Community hospital experience required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
Minimum 2 years of float experience, with float experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one prior travel assignment.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Summary

This is a travel contract RN position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, with prior travel experience mandatory. The role involves weekend day shifts floating across MS/Tele units. Candidates must pass a rigorous EKG competency exam and hold current BLS certification. Additional certifications and health screenings are required as per facility and unit standards.
