Job Details

• Position does not float between units
• On-call required: Minimum 1 call per month
• Weekend shifts required: Sunday 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Block schedules: Not required
• Expected patient ratio: 1:1
• Special requirements: O-ARM training, fluoroscopy, and OR experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid X-Ray Technician license in Oregon
• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• O-ARM training
• Fluoroscopy experience

Required Documents & Checks

• Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Education verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
• State-specific searches (Oregon Abuse/Neglect, Washington WSP/WATCH, OBRA Registry for CNAs if applicable)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respiratory safety clearance for respirator use (annual)
• Fit mask test (annual, travel only)

Additional Requirements

• References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format
• Skills checklist updated annually (if applicable)
• Radiation badge issued by facility (FYI only)
• Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background)
• Completion of required WorkRamp modules (regulatory, specialty, regional, and facility-specific) prior to start and annually thereafter
• Epic training modules completion required for Epic system access

Work Environment & Scheduling

• Short Term Acute Care hospital setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• On-call and weekend shifts required
• No block scheduling
• Floating to other Providence facilities may be required (acknowledgement form required)

This position is ideal for X-Ray Technologists with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, who have O-ARM, fluoroscopy, and OR experience, and are comfortable with on-call and weekend shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment.
