Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Travel)

Location: Cooperstown, New York
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Work with Varian Radiation Equipment and Oncology Systems including TrueBeam, 23ix, ARIA
• Preferred experience with VisionRT (Surface Guided Radiation Therapy - SGRT)
• Treat a comprehensive range of cancer case types
• Utilize treatment modalities such as Varian Linear Accelerator Equipment (TrueBeam, 23ix), ARIA Oncology Treatment System, VisionRT (SGRT), Bravos HDR Varian System, and Phillips CT Simulator (CT Sim)

Required Qualifications

• Valid ARRT certification for Radiation Therapists
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current and valid Radiation Therapist license for New York
• Completion of required core competencies, unit exams, and skills checklists as per facility standards
• Compliance with required immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR
  • Fit Test
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza Vaccine
  • TB Test and Annual TB Questionnaire
  • Varicella
  • Tdap (optional)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Successful completion of professional verifications and background checks including:

  • Professional references
  • Criminal background check
  • Resume verification
  • Webchecks
  • National and State Sex Offender Registry checks
  • Education and employment verification
• Drug screening and physical/health statement required
