Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (PCU or relevant specialty)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior travel experience: Not required

Required Licenses & Certifications

• License: Florida State RN license or compact license required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Requirements

• EPIC experience required
• Two professional references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisors, Charge Nurses, or Directors) within the last 12 months
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31 - 3/31); medical or religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation
• Must be able to float to other units or locations as needed

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start
• Fit mask test within 12 months prior to start (strict shaving policy; no PAPR alternatives)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months prior to start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Required immunization titers within 5 years: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (must include marijuana; witnessed urine collection required for instant tests)
• Background checks including MVR, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and fingerprinting per Florida AHCA Level II requirements (fingerprint clearance must be on file prior to start)
• Education verification with restrictions on certain institutions
• Completion of facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgment, confidentiality agreement, iCARE values, and badge form

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

• Contracted hours are guaranteed
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
