Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA provider or AHA RQI only (RQI provider not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for this RN position (AHA provider or AHA RQI only)
• NIH Stroke Certification - Preferred but not required

Required Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Illinois
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of assignment start

Required Qualifications & Documents

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• Candidates must complete facility orientation modules prior to start (approx. 2 hours)
• COVID-19 and Influenza religious and medical exemption forms available and must be submitted at least one week prior to documentation due date for approval
• Prior travel experience is not required for this position

Summary

This is a travel contract RN position in Medical Surgical nursing requiring at least 1 year of experience. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications. The role requires weekend and floating availability, with charting done in Epic. Comprehensive background checks, immunizations, and health documentation are mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome.
