Travel Registered Nurse (ER) - Texas (San Angelo Area)

Job Details

Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: San Angelo, Texas (Position is for a new hospital acquired in Big Spring, TX)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: Must start on 3/23; 3/30 start may be considered with facility approval
Schedule: Facility may consider 36 or 48 hours per week
Floating: May be required to float to other ED units

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
