Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Pulmonary 6S: 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6.
Collaborative environment with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy.
Requires foundation in general medicine and expertise in respiratory skills.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Work schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, holidays as required, every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg Telemetry specialty
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Information

Patient-facing clinical role.
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.
Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Parking available.
