Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Acute Care Hospital

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Acute care hospital setting
• Patient diagnoses include mild stroke, weakness, gait issues, fractures, orthopedic surgeries
• All trauma cases are transferred out

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Background checks including 7-year search, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (all required annually)
• Education verification: Transcript or diploma required; NSCH verification acceptable if transcript/diploma unavailable
• Certifications as applicable: ACLS, PALS, NRP (per job requirements)
• Competency exams as applicable by profession/specialty
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start date
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Two professional references within 3 years
• Annual skills checklist

Notes

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• No prior travel experience required for this position
