Job Opportunity: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Minimum of 18 months recent RNFA experience required.
Must have 18 months permanent RNFA experience prior to travel assignment.
Experience required in Vascular, Robotic, and Neuro specialties.
Work schedule includes 1-2 weekday call shifts per week and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks.
Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission qualification.
ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate medication administration exam must be passed during orientation.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
Minimum of 1.5 years of First Assist (RNFA) experience, with experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
Operating Room (OR) experience.
