Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech - Surgical Services

Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must have NBSTSA certification only (NO NCCT accepted)
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week with call every third day (30-minute response time)
• Possible 2 weekends per month and holidays as needed
• May be asked to float to general OR if needed
• Could care for COVID patients
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience (highest requirement found)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Required Certifications & Skills

• NBSTSA certification
• BLS certification
• EPIC experience required
• Level I trauma experience required

Schedule & Call Details

• 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
• Call every third day with 30-minute response time
• Weekend shifts approximately twice per month
• Holidays as needed
• Maximum Return to Office (RTO) time: 7 days

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• CVOR Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Experience working with Level I Trauma patients
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Notes

• Candidate will undergo clinical screening and manager interview before final selection
• Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional appearance)
• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Commitment to Health & Wellness, and Non-Employee Affidavit
• Learning Management System (LMS) modules required for RNs and CNAs; orientation required for new hires
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free; candidates should be notified prior to submission

This position is ideal for experienced CVOR Techs with strong open heart and Level I trauma experience, comfortable with a demanding schedule including call and weekend shifts, and able to meet comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
