Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: San Angelo, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Urgent backfill needed with bi-weekly RN orientation schedule.
• Work schedule: Monday to Thursday with weekend and holiday call.
• Fast-paced Operating Room environment.
• Preferred 5 years of OR nursing experience; candidates with less experience may be considered if strong in specialties such as general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
• Recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

• Legal name on all documents (license, ID, social security card, certifications) must match exactly; proof of name change alone is not sufficient.
• Background checks and verifications have specific expiration and renewal requirements.
• Some certifications may have on-site options or grace periods for obtaining after start date.
• Orientation includes pass/fail testing with remediation offered same day if needed.
• Facility-specific orientation and compliance forms must be completed prior to start.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday with weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.
