Call Requirements: Minimum 1-2 days per week and at least one weekend per month (Friday-Sunday), plus heart call as assigned
Operating Rooms: 8 OR suites

Job Description

The Clinical Nurse (CN) in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) plays a multi-faceted role demonstrating professionalism and nursing excellence. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of patients according to the scope of practice, coordinating and directing care delivered by the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies. The CN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support impacting patient outcomes and care for patients, families, and significant others.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
