Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU - Progressive Care Unit, with experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

• Background Checks: Must include comprehensive checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• Fingerprinting: Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start; travelers cannot start with fingerprints pending
• Physical Exam: Within 6 months prior to start (required by Florida law for all patient-facing candidates)
• Fit Mask Test: Required within 12 months prior to start; must be fully shaven for test; specific mask types required
• TB Testing: Negative QGold test within 3 months of start or two negative PPDs (one within 12 months, one within 3 months); chest x-ray required if history of positive PPD
• Immunizations/Titers: Quantitative titers required within 5 years for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella; boosters or declination forms required for low titers
• Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start, including marijuana; witnessed urine collection required for instant tests
• Documentation: Current application/resume dated within 90 days of start; photo for badge; facility-specific forms including job description acknowledgment and confidentiality agreement

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Guaranteed contracted hours
• Floating to other units or locations within the region may be required
• Weekend shifts as specified
• No on-call duties

• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Flu vaccine exemptions require facility-specific forms and timely submission

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with EPIC experience who meet Florida licensure and certification requirements and are comfortable with floating and weekend shifts.
