Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse
Location: Brownwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: Preferred within 3-5 weeks; may consider later based on volume of needs
Hours: May consider 48 hours/week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year
- Proficient in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
Completion and acknowledgment of facility-specific documents including but not limited to:
- Vaccination Information Acknowledgment
- TB and Occupational Exposure Acknowledgment
- Patient Centered Pledge
- Contract Employee Receipt and Acknowledgement
- Computer Security Agreement
- Corporate Compliance Acknowledgment
- Confidentiality Statement
- Employee Misconduct Registry Acknowledgment
- Self Identify Form
- Relationship to Physician Form
- Authorization for Background Check
- Traveler Identification Form
- Employee Handbook (review only)
Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required, updated annually
Facility-specific orientation modules (~3-4 hours) required
Pass/Fail testing for Telemetry nurses includes two attempts with educator support
