Description

Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • Experience with Elekta Versa required
  • EPIC system experience required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Kentucky
  • Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • ARRT (T) certification
  • Experience with Elekta Versa

Background and Verification Requirements

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Education verification matching specialty required prior to start (diploma or transcript acceptable if verification unavailable)
  • Employment application required
  • 2 professional references required (1 for non-clinical candidates)
  • Work history verification required if background check reveals issues (verify last 2 years, explain gaps over 30 days)

Additional Information

  • Badge photo required (shoulders up, solid light background, no filters or edits)
  • Respiratory fit test waiver available if fit test is failed (must be approved annually)
  • Pass/fail EKG test required for certain units (Med Surg/Tele, ICU)
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training may be required depending on specialty/unit
