Description

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Nampa, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel


Assignment Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
  • Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Holiday Rotation: Work holidays that fall on weekly rotation

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP) required
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must have current license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
  • Fit test required (specific to certain states)
  • Proof of required vaccinations and immunizations including:
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
    • Hepatitis B (must have started vaccination series prior to start)
    • Varicella
    • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
    • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
    • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
  • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start
  • Criminal background check covering last 7 years, including federal, nationwide, and county
  • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) if applicable
  • Various professional and compliance forms required prior to start (e.g., confidentiality agreements, code of conduct, conflict of interest disclosure, system access forms)
  • Skills checklist and professional references required

Additional Requirements

  • Resume and skills checklist updated within the last year
  • Education verification (degree or diploma/GED) required
  • Joint Commission testing (CORE exam) within the last year
  • Exclusion screenings (OIG, EPLS, GSA) within 30 days of start
  • National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start
