Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Paris, Tennessee

Job Details

• Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, or five 8-hour days (varies based on patient schedule)
• No on-call or weekend shifts required
• Lead position requiring proficiency to work independently and alone
• Must be able to operate GE cameras and perform cardiac studies ("hearts")
• Primarily nuclear medicine studies; experience with GE operating systems and dose tracking software preferred

Required Qualifications

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
• CNMT certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with GE Healthcare equipment

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required during work hours
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• N95 Fit Mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (no PAPR allowed)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; annual TB questionnaire required
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; booster if low/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or series; booster if low/equivocal)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; booster if low/equivocal)
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31); no declinations or exemptions accepted

Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist as applicable to specialty
• Various certifications and background verifications as required by policy

This position is ideal for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, comfortable working independently in a lead role, and proficient with GE nuclear medicine equipment. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule without weekends or on-call duties.
