Job Description
- Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (Days)
- Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Radiology
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs (may float between like units)
- Locals not accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
- Pending license not accepted
- Call required; call-offs for scheduled shifts must be made up as necessary
- Must be ARRT registered
- Block scheduling may be accommodated

Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT registration required
Additional Requirements & Policies
- Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
- Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
- Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments must be reviewed and signed prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, patient identification, professional appearance)
- Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional)
- Parking registration required if driving to work
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required but documentation is accepted if available
- Flu vaccine exemptions require approved medical or religious documentation
Scheduling & Work Conditions
- Days, weekends, and call required
- Call-offs must be made up as deemed necessary by the department
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
Prior Travel Experience
- No explicit prior travel experience required
