Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Mesa, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Weekend and holiday shifts required as per department needs.
  • Must have recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience.
  • Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week after.
  • Return to Office (RTO) time off cannot exceed 7 days and is not allowed during the first week of assignment.
  • Candidates should specify all facilities, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in.
  • Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 24 months NICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Arizona (verified within the last 30 days).
  • Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from an approved vendor.
  • Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
  • Flu vaccination required (medical and/or religious exemptions accepted with documentation).
  • Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
  • NICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
  • Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start.

Additional Information

  • Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in any Arizona facility.
  • Travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required.
  • Strict adherence to background check standards is mandatory.
  • Non-billable hours are adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled by client or vendor with one full week’s notice without penalty.
