Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assignment may include being part of an "Emergency Team" with expectations to stay onsite during emergency events or serve on relief teams.
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
- Work schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours each plus on-call.
- Scrub experience is required.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- Neuro Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Candidates with 1 year of experience must have neuro and scrub experience.
- Otherwise, a minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment.
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be comfortable with emergency event assignments and on-call responsibilities.
- All documentation and certifications must be current and verifiable prior to or within 30 days of assignment start.
- Compliance with all health and safety requirements, including COVID-19 medical or religious exemptions if applicable.
This position is ideal for experienced Interventional Radiology professionals who have prior travel experience and are comfortable with emergency response duties and on-call shifts.
