Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Columbus, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics, primarily adult patients but includes pediatric intubated patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Rotation includes every other weekend
• Floating within the facility and to a sister campus as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work expected if major holidays fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Must comply fully with onboarding and orientation timelines (max 7 days ready to operate)

Additional Requirements

• Trauma experience is mandatory
• Must pass all required competency exams and background checks prior to start
• Compliance with facility dress and professional appearance policies
• Required health documents include physical exam, immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TDAP recommended), TB testing, drug screening, and flu vaccination or declination
• Skills checklist and work history verification required within 12 months
• References: 2 clinical references required
