Description

Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology according to performance standards.
  • Perform venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick on patients as requested by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation regarding maintenance and quality control.
  • Meet lab service goals or report issues to lab director.
  • Adhere to professional standards, federal and state laws, and company policies including compliance agreements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
  • Medical Technologist experience within the last year.
  • ASCP certification.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • Candidates must be prepared to provide detailed clinical and travel experience information upon submission.
