Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, following approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintaining airways and ventilator management
• Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conducting pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wyoming
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• Certifications issued by the American Heart Association:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Must be able to follow facility protocols and work collaboratively with medical staff
