Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced, high acuity Step Down unit with a 14-bed capacity.
• Care for critically ill patients with diagnoses including chest pain, post kidney transplant, acute renal failure, congestive heart failure, GI bleed, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, pulmonary disease (with or without mechanical ventilation), thoracic and other surgical procedures in patients with comorbidities, and drug and/or alcohol withdrawal.
• Nurse to patient ratio is 3:1.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience.
• ICU experience within the last year.
