Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Washington, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7 PM – 7 AM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: None
Dress Code: Black scrubs
Job Description
- Operate therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators.
- Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Maintain patient charts with identification and therapy information.
- Float to other units as needed.
- Work in accordance with organizational mission, vision, and values.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation
Unit Information
- EMR system: EPIC
Additional Notes
- The position is in an acute care hospital with trauma and critical care services.
- The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke and STEMI Center.
- The environment supports comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric care.
This opportunity is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel assignment on night shifts with a reputable acute care facility.
