Job Summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics for a travel contract position. The role involves clinical screening and manager interview prior to placement. Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
• Weekends as needed
• Holidays as needed
• No call or floating required

Health & Safety

• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco and fragrance free environment

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• I9 or attestation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting (must be completed within 1 year of start; can start with results pending if on file within 45 days)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (must be completed within 5 years; can start with results pending if on file within 45 days)
• Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search (must be finalized prior to start)
• Education verification (highest level of education)
• Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
  • TDAP within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (vaccines or positive titers)
  • Varicella (vaccines or positive titer)
  • Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement)
• Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
• Professional references: 2 within last 3 years
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

Additional Notes

• Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional attire, solid background)
• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and health & wellness commitment
• Learning Management System (LMS) modules required for orientation and ongoing education
• Performance evaluations will be completed onsite during assignment
