Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Gadson, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Travel RN for Medical-Surgical unit. Patient ratio is approximately 6 to 1.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Travelers submitted without required information will be rejected

Notes for Candidates

Position requires night shift work with every other weekend coverage
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Patient care involves a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred but not mandatory
