Job Description

• Full-time position with shifts scheduled as 3x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
• Willing to accept 3 consecutive days Monday through Thursday.
• No on-call, holiday, or weekend shifts required.
• Role involves performing general and vascular ultrasounds in a vascular and cardiology clinic setting.
• Must have broad-based experience in vascular sonography.
• Experience with GE ultrasound machines and PACS required.
• Recent experience (within the last 12 months) with Epic electronic health records system is required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, with experience within the last year.
• Experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Certification through ARDMS or ARRT (VS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with GE Healthcare ultrasound equipment.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system.

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.
• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service.
• Physical exam within one year attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if prior positive).
• N95 Fit Test within one year (no PAPR allowed).
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted).
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or series)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (no declinations accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
• Completed employment application/resume.
• Skills checklist as applicable to specialty.
• Must pass an Epic test-out exam prior to or shortly after start (one attempt only).
