Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

13-week contract
Call 2 times per schedule
Must be able to circulate and scrub during surgeries
Required experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience
Experience required in robotic and ENT surgeries
Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries required
Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery
Must submit work history with scrub and circulate skills checklist
Charting system used: EPIC
Scrubs provided
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in ENT, Orthopedics, Vascular, Thoracic, and Neurosurgery
Robotic surgery experience
Scrub skills in the Operating Room
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
