Employment Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Candidates must have an Arizona home address on their driver's license.
- All candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position.
- Candidates should list all experienced departments they are willing to work in.
- All shifts the traveler is open to working must be specified.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 7 days and will not be approved in the first week of assignment or during holidays.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Profile Requirements
- Completed Banner Cover Page.
- Updated resume detailing all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units.
- Skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than a year old).
- Active license verification (must be less than 30 days old).
- Driver's license.
Additional Information
- Learning modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
- Non-billable hours have been adjusted to reflect 16 hours for each assignment.
- The client or vendor may cancel an assignment in progress with 7 days written notice without penalty.

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center has been serving the Northwest Valley for over 25 years, focusing on excellent patient care. The facility is a 890,000-square-foot acute-care hospital with a recent $290 million expansion, which includes a new Emergency department and all-private rooms. It is designated as a Level I Adult Trauma Center, capable of providing comprehensive care for severe injuries.
