Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Brownwood, Texas

Job Details

• Preferred start date: April 13 (may consider April 27)
• Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (end time may vary by about an hour)
• On-call required
• Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab systems preferred
• Must live more than 150 miles from the facility or reside in a metropolitan area

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with MEDHOST system
• Experience with GE Healthcare systems

• Immunizations and titers required: TB test or chest X-ray, TDAP, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine or exemption for 2025-26 season
• Annual updates for some certifications and health requirements

• Completion of facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, compliance, patient-centered pledge)
• Must complete orientation modules (~3-4 hours)
• Two professional references required within 3 years of start
