Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Brownwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Preferred start date: April 13 (may consider April 27)
- Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (end time may vary by about an hour)
- On-call required
- Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab systems preferred
- Must live more than 150 miles from the facility or reside in a metropolitan area
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Experience with MEDHOST
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)

- Fit mask test (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S) required and must be updated annually
- Immunizations and titers required: TB test or chest X-ray, TDAP, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine or exemption for 2025-26 season
- Annual updates for some certifications and health requirements
Additional Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, compliance, patient-centered pledge)
- Must complete orientation modules (~3-4 hours)
- Two professional references required within 3 years of start
- Resume or employment application required
- Skills checklist to be updated annually
