Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Full-time, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4-10hr shifts)
• Rotating call schedule: at least 1 day per week, up to 2 days if needed
• Rotating weekends on call (every 3rd weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Arkansas
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT or CCI certification required

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of identity (government-issued photo ID)
• Proof of eligibility to work (I9, E-Verify)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, SS trace, sex offender registry, education verification, and federal exclusions (OIG, SAM)
• Diploma or official transcript (unofficial transcripts not accepted)
• Primary source verification of state license
• Clinical references: proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Verification of past 2 assignments/employments
• Performance evaluations if previously worked over 1 year with the agency
• Skills checklist updated annually

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as required
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) if applicable
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Initial physical exam and annual updates confirming ability to meet job demands
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start (not required for MLT)
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Color blind exam required

Experience
