Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology
Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Shift: Days
- Hours:
- 36 hours per week (9-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- or 40 hours per week (shifts either 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Weekend Hours: Call only
- Call Requirements:
- Maximum 1-2 weeknights per week
- Every 6th weekend (Friday-Sunday) on call
- Float Requirements: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maine
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Unit Information
- Number of procedure rooms: 3
- Staffing model: 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating scrubbing and circulating procedures
- Equipment: Siemens imaging systems
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC
Work Environment & Culture
- Personality fit: Hardworking, flexible, team player, punctual, dependable, self-motivated
- Dress code: Scrubs provided
- Footwear: No open-toe shoes or shoes with holes allowed
