Registered Nurse (LTAC/Telemetry) - Travel Assignment
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
- Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience
- Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Experience with telemetry and LTAC patient care preferred.
- Must demonstrate leadership and delegation skills.
- Must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
