Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience, including experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
