Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse
Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts plus on-call
Weekends: Rotating weekends required
Call: Yes, 1 day per week
Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse with CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience to provide skilled nursing care in the CVOR setting. This is a travel contract position requiring flexibility for call and weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Annual competency exams and orientation requirements apply
- Facility-specific policies and confidentiality agreements must be completed prior to start
- Prior travel experience is requested but not explicitly required
