Location: Fishersville, Virginia

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer
• Recent vascular sonography experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required

Facility & Work Environment

• Acute Care Hospital setting
• No call or weekend shifts required
• Scrub color: Black or Caribbean blue
• Charting system: Meditech
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (including marijuana; zero tolerance policy)
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tdap vaccine within past 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B status (positive titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
• Fit mask test (N95 preferred) required annually; onsite testing available
• Completion and acknowledgment of facility-specific policies and forms prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, dress code, social media policy, standards of appearance, compliance forms)
• Two professional references required
• Current employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist for specialty updated annually

Additional Notes

• Locals are not accepted for this assignment
• Pending ARDMS or ARRT Sonography credentials will not be accepted
• Facility will perform fingerprinting and CPS checks for behavioral health candidates (not applicable here)
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Candidates must review and sign multiple facility-specific policies before starting

This position is ideal for experienced vascular sonographers seeking a travel contract in an acute care hospital environment with a standard weekday schedule and no call or weekend requirements.
