Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • Additional Requirements: Weekend, overnight, and holiday call required
  • Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT or CCI certification

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oklahoma
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT or CCI certification

Work Environment

  • Scrubs provided (Royal Blue)
  • Call requirements include weekends, overnight, and holidays

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Background check covering 7 years of history, updated annually
  • Education verification (highest level must be verified)
  • Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
  • Immunizations and titers required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
    • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
    • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
  • Completion of unit-specific skills checklist annually
  • Work history verification for the past 7 years

Additional Notes

  • Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
  • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests may be required as applicable
  • Photo for badge required
  • Various certifications such as PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, CPI, and others may be required as applicable

This position is suitable for Cath Lab Techs with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology who are open to travel assignments and flexible scheduling including call shifts.
