Job Opportunity: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)

Location: Allegan, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RNFA - Operating Room)
• Shift: Days (4 shifts per week, 9 hours each)
• Hours: 0700 - 1600, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Floating: Occasionally required to float to pre/post-op and possibly to a nearby facility on Mondays for surgical cases
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Local candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 50 miles away)
• Pending License: Accepted if application is submitted within 24 hours of offer

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RNFA
• No prior travel experience explicitly required

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 1 year of First Assist experience, with experience within the last year
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

• Employment application required
• Fingerprint results required for Michigan (state-specific)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions allowed with proper documentation
• Facility-specific documents such as confidentiality agreements and photo for badge required
• Completion of facility onboarding modules (approx. 8-10 hours) prior to start date

Notes

• Scrub color will be provided
• Occasional floating may be required to support surgical cases at nearby locations
• Candidates must be prepared to complete all required documentation and certifications before starting the assignment
