Respiratory Therapist (Temp)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care within your discipline. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation: Weekly, every Monday
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Note: Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist / RRT discipline
• Work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of current Respiratory Therapist experience

• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months are preferred
• May be required to float within the discipline across local campuses
